The
occupant regime, which has been established on the occupied territory
of Georgia, namely in Abkhazia, is putting up another show titled
"presidential elections," in which the creature, selected by Moscow
long ago, will be announced "president" of the proxy regime.
Undoubtedly, these so-called elections, and other similar types of
farces, are illegal and unreservedly lack legitimacy. It is impossible
to find any sort of justification for this episode in lieu of the
prevalent conditions, when ethnic cleansing took place several times on
this territory of Georgia, resulting in ¾ of indigenous populations
expelled and their property seized and robbed. Thereby, the banished
Georgians, Ukrainians, Armenians, Greeks, Azerbaijanis, Estonians and
others cannot exercise their right to partake in determining the future
of their homeland. Under these circumstances, the act of holding any
sort of the so-called elections is not only fraudulent by nature, but
also constitutes an act of sacrilege.

As
stated by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Georgia, the
deployment by the Russian Federation of frontier motor boats in
Abkhazian waters is qualified as piracy and pursues the aim "of
strengthening of the occupational military contingent."
The official statement of Georgia's MFA followed as a response of
Russia's intention to deploy three frontier-guarding motor boats models
"Sobol" and "Mangust" in Ochamchira. The corresponding statement was
made by Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Frolov, deputy head of the Frontier
Department of the Russia FSB in Abkhazia. "The arrival of Russian
frontier boats will ensure safety of the ships going to Abkhazian ports
and defence of the marine boundaries of the republic," Mr Frolov said
on December 4.

Today,
in the course of an emergency sitting of the parliament of Georgia, MPs
have accused Russian and Abkhazian power agents of terror against the
Georgian population.
According to vice-speaker Paata Davitaya, today, 10 citizens of
Georgia were kidnapped in the Gali District. He believes that the
pressure on the Georgian population of the region has strengthened in
the context of December 12 presidential election in Abkhazia.

Georgia's
breakaway Abkhazia region, recognized as an independent state by
Russia, has cut another of its ties with Georgia by adopting Russia's
international dialing code.
Russia
recognized pro-Western Georgia's rebel regions of Abkhazia and South
Ossetia, which rely heavily on it for economic and military backing, as
independent after crushing a Georgian assault on South Ossetia last
year. Abkhazia began using Russia's +7 dialing code on Sunday.
