Newsweek published an article which noted that Medvedev is a puppet in
the hands of the bloody junta of KGB thieves, headed by Putin. Newsweek
writes
"Medvedev's two years in office have seen much talk of radical change,
but only skin-deep reforms. That's because in real life, as in the
cartoon, Putin still leads the dance. Putin is the senior partner in

Despite
statements earlier this week supporting a new round of sanctions on
Iran, the Russian Foreign Ministry continues to oppose “crippling
sanctions” against the country and intends to go through with a deal to
provide it with S-300 anti-aircraft systems, Interfax reports.
According to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, “the term
‘paralyzing sanctions’ is, of course, something we completely refuse to
accept. Sanctions should follow the aim of strengthening the state of
nuclear nonproliferation.”

Iran will soon unveil a domestically-made air defence system with at
least the same capability as Russia's S-300 anti-aircraft hardware, an
Iranian air force commander was quoted as saying on Monday.
Last month, Russia's state arms trader declined to say whether it would
go ahead with the sale of S-300 to Iran, which could protect the
Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities from air strikes.
